This is the day....you finish it

For some reason it's always a thrill for us to see this family of deer so close to our house. They come in to eat the grass and other plants that are growing around the property. It's so sweet and it reminds me of a scripture in Matthew (6:25-27) 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

God is good and he takes care of his children, Praise the Lord! Pastor took these this morning right outside his office door and I thought I would share them along with some other photos. Glad to hear about how God is blessing the youth camp fund raisers, again he takes care of his children. God Bless, we are looking forward to being with you all in July. Please feel free to comment on any of the entries, I like to know you look at them.

These are the cherry trees that are in our yard. They flower, then the flowers fall off and them the little green fruit is left to mature. I think it's awesome, God's handy work, all for us. See the cherry stems?

Brandon caught 2 nice trout when we went fishing, he's the only one who caught anything. So we took them home and pastor and Brandon cleaned them and I cooked em up then we ate em!

Brandon got hit in the chin with the baseball while at practice, it doesn't look like much in the picture, but it got him good.

Grand Opening and Easter Egg Hunt at The Summit

The Grand Opening Service was a big success. We had about 65 in attendance for the service and we estimated about 350+ for the egg hunt. It was a lot of fun for us and we know everyone else had a great time too. It was raining in the earlier part of the morning and we were getting a little nervous, but about 1:45 people started showing up and by 2pm the whole school parking lot was full and so was the field. We thank God for the success and look forward to seeing the harvest next Sunday.

This is the grown up section, the adults wanted to have some fun too.

Test Set Up at the School

I know it's been a while since the last blog, I know you all forgive me though (lol). It has been very exciting, the anticipation of the new church opening is fantastic.Alot of people have mentioned that they have seen our information already. We put 7500 flyers out so far. Please continue to pray for the new work. We are in this together, this new baby belongs to all of us. We are so very proud of all of you and how well the church services are going. Make sure that you are entering into the presence of the Lord daily, this is what it's all about! The harvest is ripe. Pastor and I, and the Judges also, are going to be going to the church (John's church) for consecrated prayer for the entire week at 7pm each night. If God puts it in your heart to join us, we would appreciate it. Have a great week, we are praying for you all.

God Bless You
Sis W

We went to the coast on Tue during Spring Break and this is the sea star that Brandon found in the ocean. At this point it was still alive, but I don't think it is anymore.

It's been a long, long time.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Psalm 19:1

Praise the Lord. It's good to be alive. Sorry I haven't blogged for a while but we have had Internet problems and been a little busy. Pastor preached at John's church on Sunday, I didn't get any pictures but the preaching was good (as usual). The church wasn't really used to preaching because John does more teaching than anything. Here are a few photos that I've recently taken. The first 2 are from this morning when we took Brandon to school. The rainbow's end was so close, it was beautiful. We went to the school where we are going to be having church and met the principal today. He was very nice and a christian. We have been gathering all the necessary supplies for the new church (banners, bulletins, envelopes, etc). God decided that we aren't doing the billboards yet. So we will continue to wait on Him. Church there looks like it's going well. If you all keep up on the new signs and the matching handouts, God will see the vision come to pass. I believe we can double this year, God wants bigger though. So keep pressing toward the mark, don't get tired. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. We love you all and are excited for all God is doing there and here.

God Bless,
Sis W.
